Dover School Games Swimming Gala 

A team of twelve swimming super stars travelled to Dover Leisure Centre on Friday 7th March 2025 for the Dover School Games Swimming Gala. We started the gala by watching the demonstration races in the pool, the swimming team started to feel a bit nervous but were excited to get started. 

The swimming team then started the individual races in freestyle, breaststroke and backstroke. Year 4’s competed 25m in the set strokes and year 6’s competed 50m in the freestyle events. The performances from the swimming team were fantastic and proudly demonstrated all of our school values.  

Lastly, a final congratulations to the swimming team who participated in the swimming gala. We hope you enjoyed the swimming gala and we are extremely proud of our academy team. Thank you to Dover School Games and we look forward to taking part in the Swimming Gala next year.
