Curious Quest- Fact File

In Curious Quest this week we have been looking at non-chronological reports. The children chose an animal and completed their fact file. What amazing writers we have in year 1!

This week the children have been focussing on rhyming words and writing their own poems. They have been working especially hard on their presentation, taking care with their letter formation to ensure their writing is neat and clear. We may have some future poets in our class! 

       

Music

In music today we children explored pitch by playing hand chimes and arranging them from low to high sounds.

Amazing Animals - Learning Lift Off

We came into school dressed up as our favourite animals, or we brought in our favourite animal teddy to kick-start our learning about Amazing Animals.

The children all looked AMAZING!
