Dance Performance

Some of our year 4s took part in the Astor dance workshop. They have been learning a dance routine every Friday and had the chance to then perform it in front of their parents, friends and 4 other schools.

Topic

In Topic we have been looking at The Shape of the UK, we have been looking at the purpose of maps. We were trying to find specific locations using the grid references.

This term we have started looking at our new book “The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane”, we made some predictions from the front cover and the blurb!

“I predict that the book is going to be about a rabbit because there is a rabbit on the front cover.”

“I predict from looking at the front cover that Edward goes on adventure as the background of the book looks exciting!”

“From the blurb I think Edward has an owner who loves him very much.”

  

We wrote character descriptions about Edward Tulane, we aimed to use exciting and rich vocabulary!
